Word of Promise New Testament Audio Bible by Thomas Nelson Publishing
I’ll be honest here and admit it. I didn’t necessarily think I’d enjoy listening to the Word of Promise Next Generation New Testament mp3. I’m more of a book kind of person. But I decided to give this product a try because I recognized many of the names of the voice actors from some of my kids’ favorite tv shows and movie. So I got this item with the intent of listening with my kids. That didn’t really happen, but the more that I listened to the New Testament, the more I enjoyed it. It was a breath of fresh air to hear the Bible spoken instead of reading the written Word.
Thomas Nelson Publishers did a terrific job of creating this audio Bible. It was created to help children and teens become more familiar with the Word of God. I think, if you can get your kids to sit down and actually listen, they would get a lot from hearing the Word instead of having to wade through a confusing and wordy bible.
Although I enjoyed listening to the audio Bible, my attention often wandered to other things. If you are the type of person who enjoys learning through spoken word, I highly recommend this product. If, however, you are more of a reader, you may just want to stick with a Bible from Thomas Nelson Publishing.
